This trek leads you south towards the small town of Jagatsukh, which was once the capital of Kullu Valley. Here are some ancient temples worth a visit. From here the trail climbs steadily through evergreen forests and meadows with numerous streams towards the village Khanol. Then further to one of the most famous peaks in Kullu district - the Deo Tibba (6001 m). An easy trek with some of the most beautiful walks in Manali region.
Day 1 Manali to Khanol via Jagatsukh/Khanol to Chhika
We go by car to Khanol. From here the trail is fairly steep and the scenery on the route is spectacular. Chikka is a grazing ground and affords views of the Western Himalayas.
Day 2 Chhika to Seri
A delightful campsite with meadows all around. Provides beautiful views of Kullu peaks, especially of Deo Tibba.
Day 3 Seri to Chandratal (Deo Tibba Base Camp)
After reaching the beautiful glaciated lake we have the option of trekking further to the Deo Tibba Base Camp
Day 4 Deo Tibba Base Camp to Chhika
Day 5 Chhika to Jagatsukh
Return to the road, from where you get transport back to Manali.
