Duration: 6 nights/ 7 days (2 night hotel)
Best season: mid June to November
Region: Kullu Manali / Lahaul Valley
This trek leads us over the Hamta Pass (4268 m), the eastern- most pass on the Pir Panjal range, which divides the green Kullu Valley from the remote Lahaul Valley.
This trek is the shortest line between the Chandra and Beas Rivers and was a popular route before the road over the Rothang pass was built. It was the trade route from China via Spiti to the Kullu Valley and other parts of the country.
This is one of the most delightful treks in Manali region, affording views of lush green Valleys, snow-capped mountain ranges and barren hills. During this trek we can have spectacular views of the Deo Tibba and the Indrasan peaks, which are both over 6000 meters.
This trek is also possible in Monsoon, when the wild flowers are in bloom and can be best appreciated.
